Does meditation make your wishes come true?

Hello, I'm Iruru.

Do you do meditation?

If you search for ``desire realization'' in your subconscious mind, the keyword ``meditation'' may also be recommended.

I also sometimes meditate when my thoughts are spinning.

However, right after I learned about the subconscious mind, I meditated hard because I thought, ``If I meditate, my wishes will come true.''

What is the purpose of meditation in the first place?

Some people use meditation as a method for realizing their desires, and I think there are also people who experience great results from it.
However, when I meditate, stop and clear the thoughts (ego) that are running around in your head.

Some people use meditation as a method for wish fulfillment, and I believe they experience significant benefits from it. However, when I personally meditate, it's to temporarily stop the constant stream of thoughts (the ego) circulating in my mind and clear my mental space.

When I meditate, I close my eyes, take slow breaths, and focus my attention on my breath. I concentrate solely on the act of inhaling and exhaling. Gradually, all the thoughts that were swirling around in my mind start to fade, and my brain feels refreshed. It's a pleasant sensation.

Especially when I can't stop negative thoughts, I find that even a short meditation session allows me to distance myself from those thoughts a bit.

I used to believe that meditation would make my wishes come true.

When I first learned about the concept of the subconscious mind, I used to think, "If I meditate every day, my wishes will come true!" It's true that by meditating daily, you can reduce the influence of your thoughts (the ego), enabling you to concentrate on your desires. Additionally, combining meditation with visualization and other techniques can make it easier to adopt the mindset of already having what you desire.

However, back then, I had a strong belief that "if I do it every day, my wishes will come true." I would meditate and then immediately check if my desire had manifested in reality. If, for example, I didn't receive a message from him after meditation, I would doubt whether meditation had any meaning, thinking, "Is it working? Why hasn't he contacted me yet? Is meditation really effective?"

I was so focused on the present reality and my conscious state of not having my desire fulfilled that I couldn't fully embrace the idea that "what you think, you become," as we discuss on LoveSync Attraction.

The concept is that your thoughts become your reality, so applying it to my past mindset, I was stuck in the state of "believing it will come true someday," which made it difficult for me to truly feel like my wishes had been fulfilled.

The goal is to be in the state of already having your wishes fulfilled.

I believe the primary purpose of meditation is to make it easier for us to be in a state of already having our wishes fulfilled by removing our thoughts (the ego) during meditation.

Thoughts (the ego) don't disappear entirely as long as we're alive; they continue to arise. Personally, I don't experience ego dominance as much as I used to, but I acknowledge that in everyday life, ego-driven thoughts are still present.

However, what has changed from before is that I can now often think, "I may feel a bit uneasy, but this is my ego, so I'll let it pass." During meditation, the runaway ego tends to pause or, rather, I can distance myself from it and become more objective instead of being completely absorbed by it.

This distancing effect is highly effective for me in maintaining the state of already having my wishes fulfilled.

It doesn't mean that it won't come true without meditation.

By the way, if you don't meditate, your dreams won't come true.

If you feel like you don't want to do it, you don't have to do it, and if you just look at it from the perspective of ``passing over your ego,'' you may want to try various other methods.

For example, Ho'oponopono is also recommended.

Ho'oponopono is simply repeating the words "Thank you, I'm sorry, please forgive me, and I love you", and you can just repeat those four words in your head without any emotion or target.

The purpose of Ho'oponopono is to cleanse your wounds, thoughts, and emotions, but if you repeat the words, no other thoughts can come in, so you feel like your thoughts (ego) are shut out. I often do this when my ego is running wild.

If your thoughts are racing, why not try playing a sport you like, such as running or tennis? I can't think about things while I'm exercising, so I think I can automatically shut out my ego.

Personally, I like activities that are a bit more strenuous, so I often participate in activities such as diving, kayaking, and shower climbing. Other things that are effective for me include playing and practicing a musical instrument, cooking, and concentrating on work.

When you're doing something like that, you're so focused on the thing itself that you don't think about anything, so your ego goes somewhere. In that sense, I think it's similar to meditation.

We also recommend relaxing by going to the sauna or getting a massage.
Sometimes I feel like, ``I've been thinking about this and that, but I don't care about what feels good anymore.''

I have written many things, but what I have just written is just one example. It doesn't mean it will come true if you do it, and it doesn't mean it won't come true if you don't do it.

The only thing that matters is "because you think so, it will happen".
It's okay if your ego comes out, so just ignore it and be yourself. That's really all.

Once you acquire the skill to ignore your ego, it may become easier to ignore your chaotic thoughts, so please try meditation or whatever works for you.
